“You have a right to the work but, not the fruits of the labor…” Bhavadgita
Karma Yoga, the yoga of service, is alive and well! It’s been very uplifting to hear more and more stories locally about yogis helping the community (many our graduates!) without considering what they gain in return.
Here at T2I the goodness of these folks may not be known. So I’d like to honor those teachers who have stayed to teach without financial compensation for the summer: Marianne, Steve, Christine, Anne (here and at the Champion Recovery Center) Tonya, Dan, Rod (at Fed Med) Sarah, and Vanessa. The staff here has also been donating services and taking pay reductions to keep the Center going through slower hot months. Special donors this month have been Shirley Wilson, David Filbeck, Becky and Jan Kurth. Our board members: Sylvia, Angie, Tonya, Jill, Roxie, Melinda and Marilyn who also serve selflessly with volunteering and keeping us afloat.
I want to especially honor the donors who have found it in their hearts to help us out financially beyond their monthly payments. There was even a generous reduction in rent, helping make ends meet. Without their help we were looking at dropping some of our service work and even more drastic measures. We are full of gratitude to each of you!
If you find that the work we do is helping you and you’d like to see those less fortunate to have the benefits of this life changing science of living, please make a tax deductible donation to our 501(c) 3 non profit school and help us keep the work and the learning alive.
